Morgan Cameron Ross, also of Birds of Wales.

Morgan Cameron Ross has one of those familiar faces. Looks like Matt LaBlanc from Friends a little bit, and he also looks like about three people in my neighborhood. Turns out Morgan is from Canada and a self described doglover. Besides being a songwriter and solo musical artist, he is also in the pop band Birds of Wales.
What really grabbed my attention when listening to his music was a video of him in Tahir Square in Egypt on February 18th, 2011, during the uprising by the Egyptian people against their U.S. backed leader. He described how it really was, from a civilian Westerner point of view. And he shot some super footage which is included in his video below.

UNKLE - HEAVEN

Posted by Gregory J. Chamberlain>

'Heaven' was used in the acclaimed skate film Fully Flared directed by Spike Jonze and Ty Evans. The collaboration inspired the directors to take footage and re-edit a sequence of shots that shows the Lakai skateboarding team demonstrating their considerable skills as they navigate through and around various exploding obstacles. With 'Heaven' as the musical backdrop, the resulting marriage of sound to picture is quite extraordinary.

Mathematics is The Language of Nature

When I was a kid studying music, my instructor drilled into my head that music was very much about math, which made the following video even more interesting. Enjoy! - GC

Introducing the Moog Polyphonic Theremin

Introduced in 1928, the Theremin is one of the earliest and most widely known electronic instruments. Played artists that manipulate invisible energy fields around antennas which control the pitch and volume of the sound, Theremin music has distinguished hit records from such diverse artists as The Beach Boys, Led Zeppelin, Clara Rockmore and Linkin Park.

Moog Music designers carrying on the legacy of visionary founder, Robert Moog have announced the first major technical Theremin design advance in over 40 years. The PolyTheremin™ incorporates bleeding edge IsoDirectional Inductive Oscillator Technology, to isolate space around five individual pitch antennas thus enabling each to be played simultaneously (finger-by-finger) without interference from its companion antennas. This revolutionary concept breaks the long held belief that the Theremin could only be monophonic instrument.

The PolyTheremin ships with Dorit Chrysler's instructional video "Playing the PolyTheremin is Even Easier Than Playing a Monophonic Theremin."
