Crosby Morgan

MusicLoad.Com presents Crosby Morgan

A dynamic emerging young singer, guitarist, songwriter, and recording-engineer named Crosby Morgan is someone we caught live while she was busking on the Venice Beach boardwalk on a sunny Southern California day.

It was love at first listen. The way she touched and plucked her strings was what sucked me in like magic, picking so smooth rambling like a freight train that it grabbed my ear and spun me around to look as she was heading into the very first song of hers that I feel lucky to have come upon.  Bought her record, referenced in the above photo and heard all of her songs, not once, but for numerous enchanting spins.

Her voice has a purity reminiscent of early Joni Mitchell. This is not meant to insinuate that Crosby is emulating anyone, because she most certainly is not. She is doing her own thing and it's sweet.

She has been paying her dues busking and honing her skills in the fine craft of recording. Her music, her presence and her obvious artistic and personal sensitivity has an authenticism that is delightful as it comes across in her music on the street live and in her recordings. After hearing some of her story, it is apparent that she's a real dedicated artist to the core and she rates high on this network's list of artists who are worthy of attention by music lovers everywhere.

This first song below is titled breathe. It is the opening track to her album titled BLESSED MEMORY.

Next is song #2 and the title track on the BLESSED MEMORY album.

Next is her song titled Blame. It is track #6 from the BLESSED MEMORY album.

Jac Stone - Trying To Be Sorry + Someone With You (Audio Streams)

When MusicLoad first wrote about the beautiful sounds of Jac Stone in 2008, she spelled her name with a capital C as JaC, but appears that it's just Jac Stone these days with a small c.

What has not changed is that Jac still has that "it" thing. She may remind many listeners of artists from years gone by such as Joni Mitchell, Lisa Loeb, Jewel, Natalie Merchant, Edie Brickell and Suzanne Vega. But Jac is all original, not trying to cop someone else's groove. She has one of those great believable story telling voices that makes minds wander. The kind where you get lost and need to replay the song again, only to get lost again.

Recently, she has been having a successful run on Australia's version of the TV program, The Voice. MusicLoad, and the network it is part of, keeps hoping that we will see her here in LA sometime.

And... this live recording below from 2009 is one of her original tracks you will love!

Jac Stone - Young songwriter with depth turns out songs with that "it" thing.

JaC Stone, 19 year old songstress from the Gold Coast in Australia, has that thing MusicLoad.Com likes to call "it". In a subdued, but deliberate sense, JaC tells mostly personal stories that reflect a depth of human nature that the sleepwalkers of the world may never reflect on in their own lives the same way. But with that same sort of infectious flair that her sound has, she may turn on the minds of the deep and the sleepwalkers at the same time. Her guitar playing very tasty. No over or underplaying, for everything with JaC is just right ;) I predict she will break out in due time, like Suzanne Vega did in the early 80's." - Get a few complementary MP3 downloads of JaC Stone including the latest entitled You Missed The Point at MusicLoad.Com
