Esperanza Spalding - A True Pure Jazz Heartist

MusicLoad.Com presents Esperanza Spalding

You may have already seen her on The Late Show with David Letterman or on Jimmy Kimmel Live and she has been in hundreds of places between here and there, even playing for heads of state and President Obama. But in this big bad world, artists who travel that wide can still remain too far under the radar. MusicLoad.Com is happy to be is just one more little venue for this inspired and gifted multi-genre jazz core artist.

Everything about Esperanza Spalding is a breath of fresh air. As a bassist myself, I appreciate any upright players who can sing and play upright at the same time and she takes it to a whole other level than most. Esperanza is as sweet and beautiful, as you will see in this local CBS TV interview and performance, as she is articulate with her vocals and jazz style. GC

Here is a great Esperanza Spalding performance as she plays electric bass and sings like a true jazz great on Jimmy Kimmel Live with her song entitled I Know You Know

REAL Jazz Sounds - Check out the Nick Hempton Band of NYC

In this day of supposed jazz with silly names like SMOOTH JAZZ and artists like Kenny G playing never ending introductions in legato, it is nice to us whenever some real jazz artists come along and blow the real deal. We do not care how successful some of these SMOOTH jazz artists are.... it's the downfall of music as far as we are concerned. MusicLoad is the Anti-Smooth Jazz. But then, some real artists occasionally walk through the door.

Check out saxophonist Nick Hempton and his band at MySpace.Com/NickHemptonBand

He is gigging around New York City.

Enjoy!

Flexie Muiso - Sensitive and Real Soul Sounds from the U.K. and Monaco

MusicLoad.Com presents Flexie Muiso
MusicLoad.Com was befriended by Flexie Muiso on our myspace.com/musicload page and were pleased by his basic, minimalist soul sounds that showed a true sensitivity for what is real in the genre. Mixing soul with elements of jazz and funk, he nails a sound that is missing these days and made MusicLoad proud to call him a new friend.

Connect direct with Flexie at myspace.com/FlexieMuiso - You will not be disappointed if you like true soul.

Peace Love Groove,
