One of the longest running MusicLoad favorite indie bands is called Saucy Monky, fronted by two guitar slinging babes named Annmarie Cullen and Cynthia Catania. Both have strong voices and super tight harmonies and together they are dynamite. They just released their latest video to their lesbian themed song titled Awkward.
The group has songs that often start off with a great garage band feel, and then blasts off like a rocket ship into these amazing mini rock operas before they come down to earth again. The band is especially great live and always worth the trip to see them.
Randy Newman always reaches deep in his clever satire, social commentary and with this particular parody which is a perfect song to fit the theme of the Mitt Romney presidential campaign.
